Good Design plays and important part in your marketing efforts! Why is that? I know many of you have had an interview with a potential job that you’ve always wanted, and the advice that someone always has to give is;

- Leave them with something to remember.
Well guess what? That person is right. Some business owners think its ok to overlook the design of their brand, so they’ll spend as little as they can to get by. This maybe be ok in their eyes, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Starting off a business by not investing in your brand sends a message to your consumers about the type of product they may receive from your business. That’s why good design is an important stage you don’t want to be cheap on.
So how will good design help?
When starting a business your brand identity is what brings out the emotions in your consumers. Brand is the emotional feeling that a consumer has towards a company. It defines a company’s service, or product that has personality, and that personality is shaped by the perceptions of customers and target markets. A brand plays an important role in the success of any business. Good Design is a great way to bring in new clients. New clients mean an increase in sales for your business.
Good Design also plays a part in delivering your company’s message visually i.e. marketing campaigns & promotional materials. Think of fast food restaurants, when Burger King is advertising their Whopper, you don’t see a photograph that looks like it was taken in the middle of someone’s kitchen, you see a photograph that focuses in on the look and size of the burger. That photograph makes you want to go out and purchase one, because of the way it was portrayed. This is all due to good design.
These are just a few examples of how good design plays an important part in your marketing efforts. Remember when you’re trying to stand out above your competitors; you have to think outside the box. Having a great marketing and design team will enhance your brand and ensure your company makes a Good First Impression.
